    Default When memory becomes reality

Sometimes your memory becomes reality when your brain is no longer able to distinguish events in time.

Since in such case you might sense that whatever you do doesn't fit, you'll tend to find ways to get hold on things.

As a facilitator, if you watch this, it's no use to confront your client with the actual facts: their experience is different and you'll only confuse them more.

It struck me how similar this is to symbolic modelling: David used to teach that whatever comes up, it will always make sense to the client.

Go along with the story, as long as you're not putting them at risk: at some point they'll get lost in reality and will need you to guide them home.

Hold the space; trust the system.
