Phil: "I think that statement comes across as more definitive than is true in real life. [...] If A does something that B has emotions about and B then communicates those emotions to A, how is that projection? B is describing their experience - the sense of being projected upon rests with A [...]

The interpretation of A's behaviour by B may be different from A's intention. B communicating the effect of the behaviour is meant to feed back to A's behaviour, so that A can choose to adjust it in a way that would trigger the desired reaction from B.

Steve: "I am personally not interested in feedback on me from others because in my model means it's ALWAYS polluted.": it is not meant to be 'clean', it is somebody else's perception of your behaviour.
