The interpretation of A's behaviour by B may be different from A's intention. B communicating the effect of the behaviour is meant to feed back to A's behaviour, so that A can choose to adjust it in a way that would trigger the desired reaction from B.
Steve: "I am personally not interested in feedback on me from others because in my model means it's ALWAYS polluted.": it is not meant to be 'clean', it is somebody else's perception of your behaviour.
