s place over 3 days!*) cleanforum is happy to endorse the Clean Conference again this year, while having no commercial interest in the project. Why? First: in our increasingly remote-access society, opportunities to come together in person and share experiences face-to-face seem to be harder to find. We connect a lot in cyberspace - the Clean Conference is one time in the year where almost all Clean paths cross in real, face-to-face space. There, you won’t need a password to make a comment on what you’re hearing and you won’t need a PIN number to draw valuable lessons from how others are working with Clean. Second: the conference intentionally caters for a broad range of experience levels, from complete beginner through recently-trained to highly experienced. So, at the conference, those already experienced in the work of David Grove mix with people who are completely new to Clean Language and its associated processes. At the Clean Conference we can connect together in person, listening to each other's ideas and discussing them and letting others know how we are working with Clean. Learning flows both ways, all ways – I found it very rich last year. Here’s what the organisers have to say: “Clean Conference 2010 will be affordably priced and there will be plenty of networking opportunities. “The conference takes place over a three-day weekend, from Friday 22 to Sunday 24 October. Once again there's a fantastic line-up of presenters from across the UK, Europe and Australasia, making this year's Conference the place to be for the very latest in Clean thinking and innovation. “What isn't changing are the many opportunities to meet and mix with others with a similar interest in Clean and David Grove's work - opportunities that previous conference-goers have rated so highly. “This year's venue is as last year: the University of London Union in Malet Street in central London, close to Euston main line station. Using the Union permits both streams of parallel sessions to be located together. There is level access, a lift and other convenient facilities, and there are plenty of hotels and a Youth Hostel close by. Details of the 2010 programme and prices will be available later this month - watch this space!” I’ll be there and I hope to see you there… oh, and bring a friend! Phil Swallow *And even so, the organisers say that the response to their call for presentations has been lively, leaving them with more proposals than available slots – bodes well for the quality of the offerings, I say!
