Discover Your Personal Metaphors
Find out what Symbolic Modeling is like on this day-long experiential workshop. Over the course of the day, you'll have two 30 minute sessions with Gina Campbell and the option of another session with an assistant/trainee, working from a simple drawing. You'll discover how easily you can access your inner world, where your metaphors hold the keys to greater clarity and the change you want. In between, you can draw, journal, meditate or otherwise explore what you've uncovered for yourself, or you may choose to watch other participants' sessions. Limited to four participants.

Interested but can't attend on Oct. 19th? Let Gina know; more such days will be scheduled based on interest.

Gina, HI It's good to know there are others giving workshops and info about David here in the USA.
I'm a state licensed LMHC in INDPLS IN And give quarterly work shops on clean topics. I'm current researching clean play and art therapy. It works better with kids than adults.
I worked with David for about eight years here in the states, I'm a good friend of Steve Briggs from Kansas City who IMHO has the greatest understanding of clean than anyone.
I think it would be cool if all the practioners in the USA could get together sometime.
Thanks for your time,
James Robertson

Thanks for getting in touch, James. Good to know of your existence ! I'd love to hear more about your work.
One of my trainees (who also happens to be my daughter) recently took Level I training; she is an elementary school counselor who is interested in using CL and SyM with art and sand tray work. Perhaps you'd like to get in touch if you need some data for your research. She has begun, but not completed Level II training (mainly, she has not worked through/practiced maturing the landscape), but perhaps your work would inspire her to.
Anyway...
I think it would be fantastic for all the clean folk here to get together. My vision is to some day have a community in the US/Canada as connected as in the UK/Europe. I have just heard of Steve Briggs from a recent trainee of mine from L.A. who contacted him. I'd love to know more about his work too.
What I'm wondering is, how big is this US/Canada community now of people trained in and regularly using CL and/or SyM?
Are there enough of us to perhaps start with a teleconference to introduce ourselves to one another, and see what interest there might be in starting a real community of connected people? We could, of course, advertize on the clean forum site, but I'm wondering if you have contact info for others.
I appreciate that there's a difference between saying 'it would be cool to get together' and actually making the time in a busy life to make that happen, but if you're interested in helping foster a community, perhaps we could talk on the phone sometime, and see what together we can come up with. I'm pretty open next Tuesday, if you'd like to schedule a conversation. Maybe Steve would want to be a part of that too.
My regular email is gina@symbolicmodeling.com
