The Conference (21 - 22 June in London) is shaping up to be very special, packed with interest and excitement for everyone from complete beginner to high-level expert. Highlights of the programme include:
Penny Tompkins and James Lawley
The authors of the definitive book on Clean Language and Symbolic Modelling, Metaphors in Mind, will be exploring the six key characteristics of the creative genius David Grove. The founder of the Clean field, who died in January, was renowned as a whirlwind of ideas, experiments and connections. What was driving him? And what can you learn from him about your own creative potential?
Charles Faulkner
This leading NLP trainer and modeller has turned his attention to the Clean Language questions. The questions were designed to contain as few assumptions as possible, to stay as ‘Clean’ as possible. But all agree that it’s not possible to be completely ‘Clean’. So what assumptions remain – and what difference do they make?
The Emergent Knowledge stream
If you love to be ahead of the curve, you’re probably curious about David Grove’s most recent work on Emergent Knowledge. Enigmatic and ‘slippery’, this work involves space, movement, iterative questioning and the ‘power of six’. This may be your best chance ever to get a handle on the principles involved as the Conference brings together key participants in the Emergent Knowledge movement for an exploration which will change the way you think about the way we think – and the way we change.
Business and coaching
How can you use Clean in business, including executive coaching? The Conference is the place to find out. In the past Clean has been seen primarily as therapy, but several of the Conference presenters have extensive commercial experience and they’re ready to share their secrets with you!
Therapy and thinking
David Grove’s former partner Cei Davies-Linn, who guided his worldwide speaking tours, collaborated with him in the production of his tapes and videos, and ran his Eldon Retreat Centre with him, will make a rare presentation. Academics from three universities will also be among the presenters.
Networking and connecting
This is the first time the Clean Community has come together at this level, making the Conference a unique opportunity to connect, learn, debate and discuss with leading Clean enthusiasts from around Europe and all parts of the UK. For the most of the weekend, there’ll be three parallel presentations to choose from. And on the Saturday night, we’ll have the chance to socialise all together at the David Grove Memorial Evening.
Where, when and how much?
The Conference takes place on 21 and 22 June at the conveniently-located Friends House, 173 Euston Road, NW1 2BJ, just opposite Euston Station in central London. The cost is just £185 for the two days, including tea and coffee. Some single-day tickets are available, please contact us for details.
The David Grove Memorial Evening takes place at the nearby Novotel and is open to non-delegates. Tickets are £30, including a three-course buffet dinner.
