I found these when I was looking through my files recently. David told me these stories in December 1992; he got them from his mentor, Bill Rawlins.
A man had to go on a journey, and the journey was through this room. And in this room were gathered all the demons and the evil spirits and the disease of Satan. And this man had to go through this room. Before he entered, a wise old man told him, "Whatever you do, keep moving, even if it's only a crawl, even if you feel total panic, just keep moving, and eventually you will get to the other side and you can walk through that door on the other side, and leave them all behind you. But the minute you freeze up, the minute you stop moving, it's all over. They'll get you and that will be the end of it."
There was this man, and he was searching for the answers and for that which will make him happy and his life fulfilling. And he was told that if he went into this room, that he would find all that he was looking for. So the man went into the room, and it was totally empty. Not a thing in the room. Then he went back out and on his way out he met a man. And he said, "I went in that room and there was nothing in there! I can't believe it. I was expecting to find all these things, and all I found was an empty room!" And the man said to him, "Yes, but now you're facing a different way than you were when you went in!"
