David created the idea of using iterations of questions in a recursive manner, as I understand it. 6 is the number that seems to have been sttled on. There have been some longish discourses on the subject elsewhere on the forum. Could someone post an 'Iterations 101' here, keeping it as basic as possible?

Here for no particular purpose other than it amused me is a visual attempt at an in-joke in this context...

And 1

:(

And 2

And 3

And 4

And 5

And 6

It's okay to laugh now or not.

Cute, Phil. Made me smile. I wonder how closely it represents what happens in an actual iteration? Anyone?

Nice!
The first three will tend to reinforce probably making things worse.
Two faces at stage 4 would be closer to 'the wobble" paradigm.

What kind of post is an "Iteration 101"?

By Iterations 101 I mean an introductory level description for readers new to David's more recent work of his use of iteration, where it came from, what's the purpose, how he talked about it, how he chose 6 and so on. There'll be a book about it soon of course. This would be just a taster so that people can read elsewhere in the forum and understand the references.
