Thank you David
There is a handful of people who have influenced the course of my life and my work in very significant ways. David Grove was one of them. We met over ten years ago when Spence my husband and I attended a programme hosted by Georgeanne Lamont and run by David in the heart of the Lake District.
David would have nothing to do with NLP at that time. Thank God Penny Tompkins and James Lawley persisted in their modelling of him and that as a result we have the essence of some of his thinking. His work with language was genius. I marvelled at the man and loved his ability to make his environment what he wanted it to be. We sat in the hot tub that he had arranged to have outside in the freezing cold of the Cumbrian landscape.
I sit here in the south of India writing about David. And he will never know just how much his work has become a part of what I do and in turn has influenced key people throughout India and the world. I remember the times that I spent with him as if they were yesterday. Sadly they were too few and I was shocked and moved when I heard about his death.
You touched many peoples lives David and brought healing and fulfilment beyond measure. You touched mine. I will continue your legacy in whatever way I can. It the least I can do. Thank you.
