I witnessed David in full flow at a seminar in Wakefield some years ago. Breathtaking and unforgettable. If I ever in my lifetime come remotely near David Grove's performance that day, then God/the Universe will have shone very strongly on me. The word genius fits him perfectly. It is very sad to hear of his premature death. However what an amazing legacy.
Clean Language remains in my highest esteem, and who knows, it is a route I could have specialised in.
Yesterday my wife and I were watching a DVD about the oneness movement. The co-founder , Sri Bhagavan, talked about his father's premature death. He said he died of happiness. If David has time now to reflect on what he has
set in motion, wherever he is, his soul surely will feel that emotion too.

I met David once. I am so grateful I had that one chance to sample his genius in this life. I'm shocked that his life, that I experienced as so vibrant and full of ideas and plans, ended so quickly and suddenly. I treasure what I have gained from David. I'm also glad for those who introduced me to him, and his work, and carry on spreading and developing the ideas and capabilities that he originated.

I'm not wise today, instead I'm rather angry. I'm angry because life is unjust many times. Because there are people that dedicate themselves to the only meaning of life, that is to enjoy and appreciate our existence and to help other doing the same, and these people are very often taken away from the scene.
I met David through Deborah Henley and I took part to a one day of amazing exploration into the human existence. We were in a cottage in the English countryside and we attempted the building of a spacial clean space. It was a memorable day that brought me back to the days in which, as kids, we put camping tents in a backside garden...
I will never forget David and that special day of fun, learning and inspiration

To the family and friends of David: He was a mentor and a healer. His gifts and his work with me changed the course of my life. I am grateful for the honor of having known him. May this small contribution help in bringing him home. God be with you. Natassja Linzau, Washington, DC

Dear Natassja:
Barbara in Maryland and I are planning to get together to remember and celebrate David's life on Jan. 21. Since Barbara is a minister, and has to work, we plan to meet on Jan. 21. We are hoping that "Webmaven" can join us. I responded to his message. Barbara and "Webmaven" went to the Eldon in the 90s. I met David only recently in Glastonbury, where he was "hiding" (David's word). Just last June in Columbia, Missouri, we celebrated a reunion with his long-term American friends/colleagues.
Donna Kitchen in St. Louis is going to hold a large memorial next month.

thank you so much for contacting me--I am devastated that david is dead--I felt that he and he and cei davies were second parents to me--I went to so many of their workshops in the 80's and 90's--I was at eldon a number of times--
I had so many magical times with david and cei--I remember so clearly when we would do the metaphor work on his floating raft on the pond he had put in--I had given him the frank lloyd wright design for an arch on his island where he had that silo top--
I followed his thinking into space therapy-that's what he called it for a while--where he started asking what happens next?--
the earth is a poorer place for his passing--I only wish he had received the recognition he deserved for profound work and his deep insights into human problems--I hope with his passing we can put together a memory bk in his honor and a collection of large brochures or perhaps release videotaped material that people have made of him--
he was such a creative soul and a jokester and an imp--I often thought that his maori heritage somehow gave him a genetic boost and a creativity boost--not that he didn't work and study hard to come up with what he did--
he was such a mensch--he affected the nature of my psychotherapy--many blessings on you
Greetings to all in the moment of remembering,
I was a student of Dave Grove back in the 80s when I worked in a center for abused children in Toledo, OH. I attended every seminar that I could and advanced in my own practice of healing the wounded child within. I'm deeply saddened by David's death. He was a genius in understanding & healing the deep seated pains of life with new hope and awareness.
I continue to practice his methods.
