After a few days of sadness and yet release, I feel there are no right words, but it is time to say some.
I feel that a bold and adventurous soul, the gentle genius of David, has moved on, free of the suffering if this plane of existence.
David has left a legacy, and we are beholden to work together to report, in memorium, that legacy to the world at large, and to build upon his firm foundations.
A man who worked tirelessly for healing others would want his own community to be one, together, the different aspects of the group self migrating to wholeness.
I was privileged to share 18 months of extraordinary innovation in our field of work with him. That aside, though, the greatest privilege was to witness David working with my children. A side of David I rarely saw emerged - the gentle genius expressed his true nature, and such kindness, gentility and softness of spirit emerged. The work might not have been called "clean" but I was awestruck by the rapport, the knowing of the right things to do; the tasks he set them; getting Ivan to make a garden burial and memorial for a "bad spirit part".
David's genius came from his being human; a truly awake and aware man, who suffered the agonies of others privately. This was why he brought in minimum pain and minimum reality intrusion ways of facilitating - to save both clients and practitioners unnecessary suffering.
His work is done; his genius expressed; his love given; his sacrifice made.
A great man, a very human being, and a child at heart.
